Judith Johanne Bertha Levy was the second child of the banker Edmund Levy and his wife Anna Dora, née Salz. She was born in Lüneburg in 1924. In 1925, her parents moved with her and her older brother Gideon to Berlin, then on to Duisburg in 1926.
However, there seem to have been close ties to Lüneburg: in 1928, Judith Levy was hospitalized in Lüneburg. She was seriously ill and died there on August 17, 1928. Judith"s family later emigrated to Palestine.
