Max Lippstadt, born 1873, was a merchant from Elmshorn. In 1908, he married the businesswoman Ella Simon in Lüneburg, who had a haberdashery store Am Sande. Their son Rolf was born in 1909. Max Lippstadt died already in 1913 and was buried in the Jewish cemetery in Lüneburg.
