Jette Isenstein was born in Hildesheim in 1814 as the daughter of Isaac and Julie Isenstein.
Around 1841, she married the Lüneburg merchant Moritz Salomon and moved to Lüneburg to live with him. Between 1842 and 1847, she gave birth to four children.
In early 1848, arely two months after the birth of her last child, Jette Salomon née Isenstein, died and was buried in the Jewish cemetery in Lüneburg. Her two daughters Emma and Ida died just a few years later. Her two sons Wolf and Bernhard emigrated to the USA in the 1860s.
