Born on 11.09.1825 in Lüneburg, died in the year 1853 in Lüneburg at the age of 28 years

Nathan Gustav Ahrons, who was later called only Gustav Ahrons, was born in Lüneburg in 1825. His date of birth was September 11 or 10. He was the first child of banker Moses Ahrons and his wife Julie, née Nathan. Together with his younger siblings, he grew up in Lüneburg, in the family home which was first on market square and later on Apothekenstraße. Gustav"s father also ran his banking business from there. The Behrens and Ahrons families were the oldest Jewish families in Lüneburg, having lived in the town since the end of the 17th century.

Gustav Ahrons died in 1853, not yet thirty years old. He was buried in the Jewish cemetery in Lüneburg, probably close to his mother Julie Ahrons who had died in 1847.
