Clara Marcus was the fourth child of Magnus Marcus Jr. and his wife Sophie, née Levy. She was born in Lüneburg in May 1880 and died there just ten days later. Clara was buried in the town"s Jewish cemetery. Her older brother Bela, who had also died shortly after birth, was already buried there.
