Bermann Dublon came from a family of cattle dealers who had been resident in Wittlich in the Rhineland for several generations. He was the fourth child of Daniel Dublon (1819-1979) and Jüdel Dublon née Israel.

In March 1889, he came to Lueneburg. There, in 1891, he married Betty Löwenstein, who was born in Reichensachsen in northern Hesse. Two children were born in Lüneburg: daughter Henny in 1893 and son Daniel Dublon in 1895.

The family"s residence and at the same time the place of the cattle trade business was first a place on Grapengießerstraße, and then, from 1910 onwards, their own house in Wilschenbrucher Weg 20. At that time, it was still situated on the outskirts of the town of Lüneburg. In 1913 Bermann Dublon died and was buried in Lüneburg"s Jewish cemetery.
